- [02] Cannot start MOVERIO Link.
MOVERIO Link does not appear in the smart device’s notification bar.
- Make sure that the app has the correct authorizations.
See “Launching the App” in the Tutorial.
If authorizations have already been granted, re-connect the USB Type-C cable.
You can also try tapping the MOVERIO Link icon while the MOVERIO is connected.
- [03] The Menu screen is not displayed.
- Swipe down from the top of the smart device's screen and tap the notification bar in the app to display the Menu screen.
You cannot display the Menu screen by just tapping the MOVERIO Link icon.
- [04] The MOVERIO Link Menu screen is not displayed on the MOVERIO screen while viewing content.
- Depending on the app being used, the MOVERIO Link screen may not be displayed on the MOVERIO screen. Check the screen on the smart device.
- [05] I set the 2D/3D icon to 3D, but images are not displayed in 3D.
- MOVERIO can only display 3D images or movies that are compatible with the Side by Side format. Return to 2D view by tapping the 2D/3D icon.
- [06] Cannot adjust the volume on the Adjust Volume screen.
- Make sure that the earphones are connected correctly to the MOVERIO.
- [07] No sound comes from the MOVERIO earphones even though the volume has been increased on the smart device.
- Increase the volume for the MOVERIO on the Adjust Volume screen in MOVERIO Link or by using the controller for the MOVERIO.
- [08] The status displayed on the Settings screen is No Signal.
- Re-connect the USB Type-C cable.
- [09] The screen for the MOVERIO suddenly goes dark.hhh
- If the MOVERIO headset gets too hot, the brightness of the MOVERIO's screen may be dimmed to protect the device.
- [10] "Brightness Limit" is displayed on the Adjust Brightness screen.
- This occurs when the MOVERIO headset gets too hot and the brightness of the MOVERIO's screen is dimmed. You may not be able to view images until the headset cools down.
- [11] I can only slide the adjustment bar on the Adjust Brightness screen half way.
- This occurs when the MOVERIO headset gets too hot and the brightness of the MOVERIO's screen is dimmed. You may not be able to view images until the headset cools down.
- [12] I cannot adjust the brightness on the smart device.
- Some smart devices do not allow you to adjust the brightness during power saving or when the screen is locked. Tap the screen of the smart device to wake it from power saving mode, or release the screen lock (Prevent Accidental Operation).
- [13] I cannot perform operations from the smart device.
- Swipe down from the top of the smart device's screen and tap the notification bar in the app to display the Menu screen. Tap the Prevent Accidental Operation icon on the Menu screen to allow operations. You can also disconnect the USB Type-C cable and close the app to perform operations.
- [14] What is the "Prevent Accidental Operation" feature on the Settings screen?
- When this is set to On, you can lock or unlock the screen by shaking the smart device. When this is set to Off, you cannot lock or unlock the screen by shaking the smart device.
However, you can lock or unlock the screen by tapping the Prevent Accidental Operation icon regardless of whether “Prevent Accidental Operation” on the Settings screen is set to On or Off.

- “Prevent Accidental Operation” may be set to Off on the Settings screen. Set this feature to On.
- [16] How can I improve the Sensor Accuracy?
- You can calibrate the headset sensor in the MOVERIO. See the MOVERIO’s documentation for details on the calibration method.
- [17] What is the "Notification of Reduced Sensor Accuracy" feature on the Settings screen?
- When “Notification of Reduced Sensor Accuracy” is set to On on the Settings screen, the Reduced Sensor Accuracy screen is displayed when the sensor accuracy for the MOVERIO headset declines.
